Janet Lopez is one of the rising stars in Music Supervision and has been an integral part of Neophonic since 2005, one of the leading Music Supervision companies in Los Angeles. An LA native and marketing and economics business graduate from Cal State University Los Angeles, Janet applied her love of music towards music business, and has earned a valuable reputation within the entertainment community for being a smart and creative team player. For the past decade her presence has been central to the business of Neophonic and she's collaborated on over 35 films/mini-series/television series with numerous studios at various budgets, including pilots for both network and cable studio distribution.
As a thriving Music Supervisor Janet has worked with some of the most respected and exciting filmmakers in the industry including McG, Barbie Adler, Greg Yaitanes, David Mandel, Spike Lee and Mike White, as well as maintained and developed relationships within the extended film and TV music community. Ranging from major to independent labels and publishers to various musicians and songwriters Janet’s relationships on period and contemporary projects have helped to provide customized music in either the production or post production arenas. Notable examples of such performances can be seen/heard as part of the new and anticipated 1972 period series for Cinemax entitled Quarry (starring Logan Marshall-Green and Peter Mullan).
Other recent credits include the beloved and 25-Emmy-Award-Winning HBO series VEEP (starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale), Cinemax’s Banshee (starring Anthony Starr, Ivana Milicevic), ABC Family’s Kevin From Work (starring Noah Reid, Paige Spara), ABC’s Red Band Society (starring Octavia Spencer, Dave Annable) HBO’s The Comeback (starring Lisa Kudrow) and the HBO Film All The Way (starring Bryan Cranston, Anthony Mackie).
